Hello Megan!

Chapter 1

High in the air you look down at this planet called Earth. You have seen the many tall buildings that inhabit this planet and you see the bluest of blue oceans. You never realized how beautiful this planet is. Not too long ago, you had a nice life going. You and your uncle were close but now he's cold and aloof. He even attacked because he felt you were a threat. You weren't happy about having to fight him. He clearly had the upper hand over you but you prevailed barely escaping. Ever since then you have been hiding from him. The funny thing is, despite your paranoia, not once has he attacked you. Then again he's probably too busy with the latest team he's joined. In any case, you realize you need to find some allies fast or something. Who knows how long you can last on this planet without help. As you say this, a blur of blue and red flies right past you. You decide to follow it and see who it is. Surely it isn't Superman. You heard stories about him but you haven't seen him. As you follow him, you realize that he's being chased because immediately you sense two fighter jets gunning right towards you. You stop and with your Martian telekinesis, you have them stop the jets and turn them in the other direction and they take off. While your doing this, the person they were chasing stops and surveys what you done. You fly towards him and he flies towards you. As you get closer, you realize he's a she. Your face to face and she speaks in a language you never heard of before. You put your hands on her and she hits you. You go flying. You never felt that much power before. You put your hands up to say I don't want to fight. Once again she speaks but when you touched her, you were able to get a feel for the language. "Who are you?", she says. You reply back, "The name is M'gann but most people know me as Miss Martian." She gasps, "How do you know my language," she demands. "When I touched you, I was able to grasp your language and learn it," you reply back. She stares at you for a minute before she replies back, "How did you do that?" You answer back, "I won't tell you until you tell me your name." Once again she stares at you, "The name is Kara Zor-el or as people call me, Supergirl." You answer her question, "I'm not from here. I'm from Mars. We Martians have psychic properties. We can manipulate minds, read them, phase through things, superstrength, communicate telepathically, shapeshift and become invisible." Once again she stares at you before she replies, "I see. It's nice to meet you. I too am not from this planet. I'm from a planet called Krypton." You ask her, "By any chance, you wouldn't be related to Superman would you?" She answers back, "Yes I am. He's my cousin." She lightens up a little more. "Well look," you ask her, "Is there a place where we can go?". She nods her head and says, "Follow me." As soon as she says that, she takes off. You follow her until she gets to an ocean and she dives down. "Great," you say to yourself, "I have to get my hair wet." You erect a force field over you and you follow her. As you go deeper into the water, you see some kind of structure in front of you. She waits for you by the entrance and motions you to follow her. She passes through the membrane and your amazed at how it lets her go through it without letting water go through it. You follow her through it and step into a very big fortress. She leads you to a room with a table and chairs and you sit down. There you talk and you find out things about her and vice versa. In some ways, she's like you. She doesn't really like her cousin or trust him for that matter and your uncle doesn't like you. So like her, you stay away from them. You realize that she might be the one person that can watch your back. You tell her, "I'm looking for some allies to help watch my back from my uncle. You know of any?" She shakes her head no but then she replies, "I might know of one person. But if you want, I'll watch your back since we're both strangers to this planet." You smile at her and reply back, "I would like that. I think this is the start of a great friendship." You shake hands and then she replies, "Well you want to go meet her?" You reply back, "Yeah. Let's go meet her." And so you two take off to go look for this mystery girl that Kara somewhat knows. You can't help but be happy that you finally made a friend. You follow your new friend back out and out of the ocean to an island that is very beautiful and you land on it. You stare around in amazement at how beautiful the island is. Before you have a chance to explore, a cadre of women materialize and point their weapons at you. You look at Kara and realize you guys are in trouble. And then before you know it, you see Kara slump down to the ground and you join her as well. Before you fade into unconsciousness, you say, "Well this can't get much worse than this." And you pass out.
